Robotnik Automation is a Spanish company of international reference in autonomous mobile robotics specialized in the development and manufacture of autonomous mobile robots and manipulators that it distributes for the industry in the main markets of the world.

Since 2002, Robotnik has participated in more than 60 R&D projects, most of them at European level. It is currently involved in about 30 projects of different nature: some of them with objectives oriented to logistics, others to the health sector, agri-food or security and rescue, among others.

Within the NESTOR project, Robotnik is one of the key hardware providers, as their UGVs will be integrated in the whole NESTOR system to enhance the border patrolling duties of the different agencies. The UGVs will be deployed in autonomous and teleoperated modes and their key mission will be to patrol the borders while feeding NESTOR with live sensor data streams from the field.
