From 24 to 25 October, the 3rd plenary meeting of the project took place. The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works / Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC), who participates in NESTOR as an end user, organised and hosted the event on their premises in Larnaca, Cyprus. On the 26th of October the Consortium had also the opportunity to extend their stay in order to visit the site of the Cypriot trial.

At the beginning of the meeting, the consortium was welcomed by the Lt Commander, Mr Andreas Charalambides. Afterwards, the project coordinator, Ms Giannoula Chalvatzi from Hellenic Police, Greece, along with Mr Dimitrios Myttas from KEMEA, Greece, took the floor and kicked off the meeting.

During the two-day meeting all WP leaders provided an overview on the main results of the work performed during the past months and had fruitful discussions regarding the next steps that should be followed for more remarkable outcomes. Overall, the event was very productive, as the partners discussed various subjects related to the scientific advancements of the WPs. Focus was also put on the various technical aspects of the project.

The event was hybrid with most of the partners participating physically. Events of this nature are essential for developing team spirit among partners, for this reason we give a big thank you to all the participants and especially to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works / Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC), for organizing this excellent meeting.
